Man at The Kotel
$216.00 – $862.00
Giclee print on acrylic 1/2 inch thick (Giclée print face mounted on clear acrylic substrate)
This is a painting made from acrylic on canvas. Mixing paints with different mediums to create this effect. Depending on how you mix the chemicals you can get a cracked affect. I chose to only make the gold cracked to resemble the cracks in the wall of the kotel itself.
After my painting was complete I wrote prayers as letters to be placed in the cracks of the wall as has been done for generations as part of Jewish tradition. I then poured resin as can be seen in the second photo. This painting has been featured in Mishpacha Magazine March 10, 2020 https://mishpacha.com/
